Litigation Paralegal
Job Summary
A prestigious global law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity in Uptown Dallas, TX. This role will support a busy team of attorneys handling sophisticated commercial and complex litigation matters for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 organizations. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Litigation Paralegal who enjoys high-level legal work, a collaborative team environment, and the opportunity to be part of a newly established Dallas office. The firm offers a professional, business-focused environment with respected attorneys, strong teamwork, and meaningful litigation exposure from case inception through trial, post-trial motions, and appeals. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable supporting multiple senior attorneys in a fast-paced, deadline-driven law firm setting. Key Responsibilities - Support attorneys through all phases of complex commercial litigation, including case inception, discovery, trial preparation, trial, post-trial motions, and appeals.- Manage case files, pleadings, discovery materials, exhibits, deposition materials, expert discovery, and trial binders.
- Draft and respond to written discovery, subpoenas, notices, routine pleadings, and court filings.
- Coordinate federal and state e-filings, document productions, document reviews, depositions, witness logistics, and courtroom support.
- Conduct legal and factual research using platforms such as Westlaw and Lexis, and prepare case chronologies, summaries, and analytical reports.
- Maintain accurate billing and timekeeping records while supporting a high-volume litigation caseload. Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $100,000 to $115,000 per year, depending on experience.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support complex commercial litigation matters for a busy team of attorneys.- Manage discovery, document productions, e-filings, depositions, trial preparation, and case materials.
- Draft litigation documents, discovery responses, subpoenas, notices, and routine pleadings.
- Provide litigation support from case inception through trial, post-trial motions, and appeals. - 8 to 10+ years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm environment.
- Strong defense-side litigation experience.
- Experience supporting complex commercial litigation matters.
- Proven trial experience, including preparation and support through appeal.
- Ability to manage multiple attorneys, competing deadlines, and a high-volume caseload.
- Experience with Relativity, Opus 2, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and state and federal e-filing systems.
- Experience conducting legal and factual research using Westlaw, Lexis, and similar research platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Excellent organization, communication, client service, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute effectively in a collaborative legal team environment. Preferred Qualifications - Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- Certified Paralegal designation is a plus.
- Prior experience in a business-focused, defense-side law firm practice is highly preferred.
- Background supporting commercial litigation rather than family law matters is preferred.
- Experience supporting senior attorneys in a sophisticated litigation practice is preferred.
