Pay: $19.50 – $20.47/hour

Shifts: Variable (including nights/weekends), overtime available

We’re hiring a Fleet Technician Apprentice to help maintain a modern fleet of transit vehicles at one of Houston’s busiest transportation hubs. You’ll learn on the job, work with skilled professionals, and gain the experience needed to launch your mechanic career.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections and maintenance on transit vehicles

• Troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems including engines, brakes, HVAC, and electrical

• Use diagnostic tools and maintenance manuals

• Support vehicle reliability and safety across the airport's 24/7 transit network

• Follow detailed safety and federal security guidelines

Requirements:

• Mechanical experience (personal, freelance, or professional)

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license

• Willingness to work variable shifts

• Must pass a federal background check (airport clearance required)
