Powersports Service Writer/Advisor
1+ years of powersports or automotive dealership experience preferred
Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills
Experience writing concise but detailed repair orders for vehicles – powersports or automotive, desired
A positive attitude & strong work ethic
Pleasant, energetic, and dependable personality
Ability to multi-task
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
Motorcycle endorsement preferred
Responsibilities Greet customers, inspect their powersports vehicles, and answer questions.
Document problems with Motorcycles, ATVs, and Side-by-Sides and clearly describe them on the repair order.
Notify the Service Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known, so the customer can be immediately notified.
Schedule appointments for repair, maintenance and recall work.
Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and cost.
Offer additional services and products, including special promotions.
Review repair orders in progress to ensure quality and timeliness.
Follow the status of a customer’s powersports vehicle from service bay entry through the completion of work.
Communicate any changes in timeline, repairs, or cost to the customer.
Upon completion of work, review the work order with the customer.
Other duties as assigned.
