Job Title: Business Project Manager
Location-Type: Remote - Unable to hire in Cali, NY and Hawaii
Start Date Is: Targeting July 1
Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Compensation Range: $50-66/hour 

Job Description:
The client is seeking a Business Project Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional business initiatives focused on process automation, product implementation, and operational readiness. This individual will drive timelines, coordinate multiple workstreams, and ensure successful project execution from planning through delivery.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end business project execution across multiple workstreams
• Manage timelines, risks, budgets, milestones, and project governance checkpoints
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, and business stakeholders
• Support implementation of new products and operational processes
• Drive automation initiatives by transitioning manual processes into technology-enabled solutions
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and project status reporting
• Monitor project risks/issues and escalate as needed
• Maintain PMO governance standards and compliance reporting
• Partner with leadership to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables
• Conduct regular follow-ups to keep teams aligned and accountable

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of related project management experience
  • Tenure in previous roles
  • Strong experience managing business-focused projects (non-IT infrastructure/networking)
  • Proven project governance and project lifecycle management experience
  • Experience managing strategic programs/projects including budget oversight
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Experience with change management and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Server, SharePoint, or similar PPM tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Visio
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
    • PMP certification
    • Six Sigma certification or methodology exposure
    • Healthcare industry experience
    • Experience supporting product implementation initiatives
    • Background in operational process automation
