Your Future Role

Are you looking for a flexible opportunity to share your opinions and meaningfully contribute to product development and market research, all from the comfort of your home? AFG is seeking engaged and thoughtful individuals to join our panel of remote Focus Group Panelists. This isn't just about answering questions; it's about providing valuable insights that shape the future of various products and services across diverse industries. We believe that authentic feedback is paramount, and your perspective holds significant weight in our research endeavors.

Joining AFG means becoming part of a dynamic ecosystem where your voice directly influences real-world decisions. This role is perfect for those who enjoy critical thinking, have a keen eye for detail, and are eager to articulate their experiences in a structured setting. It's an exciting chance to engage with interesting topics and make a tangible impact without the constraints of a traditional office environment.

This part-time, independent contractor role offers unparalleled flexibility, allowing you to integrate participation seamlessly into your existing schedule. While there isn't a traditional career path in the conventional sense, consistent and high-quality participation can lead to invitations for more frequent or specialized studies, potentially increasing your earning potential and exposure to diverse research topics. If you thrive on intellectual engagement and value a work-from-home model that respects your time and contributions, this opportunity at AFG is designed for you.

Daily Responsibilities

As a Remote Focus Group Panelist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Actively participating in scheduled online focus group sessions, providing thoughtful and articulate responses to prompts and discussions.
  • Sharing honest and constructive feedback on various products, services, concepts, and marketing materials.
  • Engaging respectfully with moderators and fellow panelists, contributing to a collaborative and productive research environment.
  • Completing pre-session questionnaires and screeners accurately and punctually to ensure qualification for specific studies.
  • Adhering to all confidentiality agreements, ensuring that proprietary information discussed during sessions remains private.
  • Maintaining punctuality and presence for all confirmed focus group sessions, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
  • Utilizing designated online platforms and tools effectively for participation, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted experience.

Benefits & Compensation

This is an independent contractor (1099) position designed for maximum flexibility and rewarding participation.

  • Compensation: Panelists can expect to earn between $75 and $150 per 1-hour session, depending on the complexity and duration of the study.
  • Earning Potential: Consistent participation could lead to potential weekly earnings of up to $750, based on study availability and qualification.
  • Flexible Hours: Enjoy the freedom to choose studies that fit your schedule, making this an ideal opportunity to supplement your income or engage in meaningful part-time work.
  • Weekly Payouts: Compensation for completed studies is processed promptly, typically on a weekly basis.
  • No Traditional Benefits: As an independent contractor, this role does not include employer-sponsored health, dental, vision, retirement plans, or paid time off.

Minimum Requirements

To thrive as a Remote Focus Group Panelist, candidates should meet the following essential criteria:

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate thoughts and opinions, both verbally and in written form.
  • Reliable access to a high-speed internet connection and a personal computer or tablet with a webcam and microphone.
  • A quiet, distraction-free environment suitable for online participation during scheduled sessions.
  • Proven punctuality and commitment to attending scheduled appointments.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and adhere to research protocols.
  • Comfort with using online meeting platforms and basic computer functions.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Residency within the United States.

Success Profile

The ideal Remote Focus Group Panelist at AFG is naturally curious, perceptive, and an excellent communicator. They possess an innate ability to critically evaluate information and articulate nuanced feedback, contributing valuable insights rather than just surface-level observations. A successful panelist is highly reliable, understanding the importance of their commitment to scheduled sessions and the impact their absence can have on research outcomes.

This role thrives on individuals who are open-minded and adaptable, capable of engaging with diverse topics and perspectives without bias. They are comfortable sharing their genuine experiences and opinions in a group setting, while also respecting the viewpoints of others. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to technology are also key. Candidates who are self-motivated, organized, and enjoy contributing to innovative projects from a remote setting will find this opportunity particularly rewarding. Your career goals should align with a desire for flexible, impactful work that allows you to leverage your intellectual curiosity and communication skills.
