Description:
High Profile, Inc. has partnered with a major multi-specialty regional hospital in the Dallas area to hire a Senior Accountant Analyst who will support financial reporting, month-end close activities, and operational financial analysis. This position combines traditional accounting responsibilities with deeper financial insight work, working closely with leadership teams and the Revenue Cycle department.
The role sits at the intersection of accounting operations and strategic finance, requiring someone who can not only manage numbers accurately but also interpret financial trends, identify variances, and contribute to decision-making discussions. You will collaborate directly with senior leadership, including the CFO, to improve reporting quality and operational performance visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage key portions of the month-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliation reviews
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts, trial balances, and subsidiary ledger alignment
- Perform bank reconciliations and validate financial data integrity across reporting systems
- Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle team to analyze and report on accounts receivable on weekly and monthly cycles
- Consolidate financial data from multiple clinic and hospital systems and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare financial presentation materials for Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR) with physicians and operational leaders
- Lead expense and performance review discussions, highlighting trends, variances, and financial drivers
- Oversee departmental profit and loss reporting and identify operational performance insights
- Assist with forecasting activities and annual budgeting preparation, including data analysis and reporting
- Contribute to recurring financial reporting cycles including weekly, monthly, and quarterly deliverables
- Support regulatory filings and industry reporting requirements such as cost reports and healthcare surveys
- Partner with executive leadership on accounting improvements and finance-related initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to process improvement and automation opportunities
- Healthcare industry experience is considered an advantage
