Core Responsibilities

• Assist the Family Support Specialist with facilitation of parenting classes.
• Assist the Family Support Specialist with restocking inventory in the St. Teresa Baby Boutique.
• Provide data entry and administrative support

What will you be doing in your role?

• Assist the Family Support Specialist with facilitation of parent education classes by preparing client handouts and paperwork, preparing in-kind items (such as diapers and wipes) for distribution to class participants, and assist class participants with registration/sign-in.
• Monitor inventory of items in the St. Teresa Baby Boutique and replenish items as needed.
• Assist the Blessed Beginnings team with data entry, including uploading documents and entering client data into the agency database (Salesforce).
• Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.
• Assist with interpretation of classes in Spanish and will interpret for clients as needed during class.

Additional Information

• This is a part-time, non-paid position.
• This position requires a minimum of 10 hours per week and least one school semester remaining.
• Schedule could vary from 1 full day per week or 2 half days to help cover classes. Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday availability.

Are you the next Blessed Beginnings Intern?

• Bachelor's Level student, preferably from a local university.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
