Travel Amusement Ride Operator
The Amusement Ride Operator is responsible for the safe operation of carnival and amusement rides while traveling with a mobile carnival to fair and festivals. Duties include setting up, inspecting, operating, and tearing down rides at various locations across states. Operators ensure all safety restraints, controls, and procedures are followed, provide clear instructions to riders, and maintain a friendly, professional attitude with the public. This role requires long hours, working outdoors in varied weather, physical stamina, and the ability to work as part of a close-knit traveling crew. Ride Operators must follow company policies, state ride regulations, and safety standards at all times while adapting to frequent location changes and living on the road.
