General Surgeon | No State Tax & 300+ Sunny Days | Laredo, Texas
We are seeking a full-time General Surgeon to join Laredo Physicians Group and Doctors Hospital of Laredo in Laredo, Texas. This role offers a hospital-employed position in an established, high-volume surgical program with shared call among experienced surgeons and competitive compensation, allowing you to focus on quality surgical care while working alongside a collaborative team in a state-of-the-art facility supported by Universal Health Services.

- Practice Setting: 183-bed acute care facility with da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system and state-of-the-art operating rooms
- Support / Care Team: Established surgical program working alongside 2 experienced general surgeons with quality recognition
- EMR / Technology: Cerner EMR with da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system and state-of-the-art surgical equipment
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general surgery services to a diverse border community patient population
- Collaborate with experienced surgeons and support staff in a high-volume surgical practice
- Manage day-to-day surgical responsibilities with coordinated, high-quality care approach
- Document care using Cerner EMR system
- Participate in shared call rotation with surgical team
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive salary base slary plus wRVU bonus

Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain Texas licensure
- Spanish language skills not required
