Nature’s Way Resources is a leading provider of high-quality horticultural products in the Houston area, specializing in organic landscaping supplies for over 30 years. We are currently seeking a dedicated Pallet Stacker to join our Bagging Department. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our products are efficiently prepared for distribution. Responsibilities
- Stack bags of soil, mulches, and compost weighing up to 50 pounds each.
- Operate pallet wrappers and apply shrink wrap to secure pallets.
- Ensure pallets are stacked properly to prevent damage during storage and transport.
- Load and unload pallets from trucks, containers, and warehouse shelves.
- Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and product damage.
- Assist in the preparation of products for shipping, including packing and labeling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Perform additional duties as required by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
- Ability to make minor decisions based on standard practices.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Compensation
$15.00 per hour
