Production Team Leader

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Production Team Leader to oversee our production team and ensure the efficient and effective operation of our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in production and manufacturing, and a commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards. You will be responsible for coordinating workflow, managing team performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Team Leadership:** Lead, motivate, and develop a team of production workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- **Production Oversight:** Supervise daily production activities to ensure efficient workflow, adherence to schedules, and achievement of production targets.
- **Quality Control:** Ensure that all products meet quality standards and safety regulations; conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- **Process Improvement:** Identify areas for improvement within the production process and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- **Training and Development:** Provide training and mentoring to team members, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- **Safety Compliance:** Enforce safety policies and procedures, ensuring the team adheres to all safety guidelines and participates in safety training initiatives.
- **Reporting and Metrics:** Monitor and report on production metrics, including efficiency, quality, downtime, and output; analyze data to inform decision-making.

- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control protocols, and safety regulations.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve production efficiency.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement.

Starting pay: $18.50/hour
