Territory Manager, North America
Are you customer/growth-driven, having an abundance mindset centered on win-win principles? If so, maybe you could be our new Customer Conquest Captain focused on making markets for Secomea in the US and Canada.
In this role, you'll be building strong and lasting relationships with our existing customers and new prospects by understanding their needs and pain points—the why—and spotting opportunities for future growth within the dynamic worlds of OT (Operational Technology) and Industrial IoT, aka CPS (Cyber Physical Systems) where Secomea operates.
You will be the voice and representative of our Secure Remote Access solution, independently showcasing its value and benefits to our US/C customers, leveraging insights and resources from our internal teamsalongside client drivers.
What’s the job?
- Build lasting relationships with customers within your territory, understanding their needs and anticipating future opportunities
- Contribute, manage, and maintain your territory’s sales pipeline and target key accounts and vertical markets to develop
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets and other regional objectives established by the VP North America
- Manage day-to-day priorities of sales personnel dedicated to your territory. This includes inside sales representatives, presales engineers and customer success
- Utilize channel sales resources—partner account managers—in your region as necessary and drive ecosystem partnerships and alliances
- Keep abreast with the latest industry trends and developments
- Pursue leads, self-prospect within our customer base, and negotiate agreements to achieve organisational goals and expand our customer base
- Be based in the Central (CT) or Eastern (ET) United States, working fully remote while joining onsite at our North American headquarters in North Carolina or our worldwide HQ in Copenhagen DK, maybe once a quarter or every couple months

- You've got a knack for simplifying and selling the smart and seemingly complex stuff—like industrial IoT—and you’ve proven success at it
- You're a wizard utilizing tried-and-true sales methodologies and processes, to make sure our pitch stands out in the crowd
- You're the kind of person who makes friends of all sorts, both with the techies (IT) and the hands-on folks (OT), harnessing the power and strengths of relationships and network effects
- You're a master juggler and optimizer of client needs, always on the lookout for new chances to expand
- You have at least 3-5 years of sales experience with OT or IT Cybersecurity and/or compliance solutions, understand the languages therein, and are switched-on to talk-the-talk with anybody and everybody
- You’re not afraid of objections and “tough negotiations,” as you’re founded in the principles of abundance: seeking to understand first, win-win, and synergy
- You have an ease—a second nature—to share best practices and help colleagues to succeed with and alongside you
- You live for customer interaction, be that via Teams or in-person, at the factory or at an event
