Are you passionate about using data to drive real change? The Regional Alignment Coordinator role offers an exciting opportunity to combine data collection and analysis with meaningful collaboration across the 30 diverse counties of Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Region 2.

In this role, you’ll go beyond numbers—working directly with communities, providers, and statewide partners to identify local trends, assess needs, and strengthen prevention strategies for substance use. Your work will help shape healthier futures across our region and beyond.

What You’ll Do

As the Regional Alignment Coordinator, you will:

• Design and implement data collection strategies tailored to unique community needs.
• Analyze data and prepare clear, actionable reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Provide technical assistance and consultation to local providers, community groups, and stakeholders.
• Conduct focus groups, interviews, and other methods to gather new data on community, county, and regional trends.
• Collaborate with HHSC’s Statewide Prevention Evaluator.

What You Bring

• A High School Diploma or GED, preferred Bachelor’s degree in Social or Behavioral Sciences (or a related field).
• Coursework and/or experience in statistics, research methods, or program evaluation .
• Strong data analysis skills and the ability to translate findings into clear written and oral reports.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse partners.
• A passion for improving community health and using data to inform decisions.
