Wet Utilities Lead Excavator Operator
- Have at least 2 to 3 years of experience operating a 300-class excavator in utilities or heavy civil construction.
- Knowledge in the testing of soils.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- A valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check .
- Health, Dental, and Vision are effective after 91 days of employment.

- Excavate mainline trenches accurately to the required grade and alignment.
- Operate equipment safely near crew members and other trades.
- Monitor trench conditions continuously to ensure stability and safety.
- Identify and implement appropriate trench protection methods, including benching and sloping, when needed.
- Safely lower pipe and material into trench using proper rigging techniques.
- Move and position trench boxes safely in coordination with team.
- Set and main the pace of excavating to meet daily production goals.
- Read and interpret plans and grade stakes, experience preferred.
