Travel Registered Nurse OB/GYN Job
Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN – OB/GYN for travel assignments . This role focuses on providing comprehensive care to women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum , as well as assisting with gynecological treatments and procedures. The ideal candidate has strong patient education skills, clinical expertise, and a compassionate approach to women's health .
Responsibilities
- Provide prenatal, labor, and postpartum care to patients.
- Assist with gynecological procedures, exams, and screenings .
- Monitor fetal development and maternal health .
- Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum care .
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management treatments .
- Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals .
- Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately .
- Travel to various hospitals and clinics for temporary assignments .
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery, or Women’s Health .
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NRP preferred.
- Skills: Strong maternal-fetal assessment, patient education, and communication skills .
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and assist patients as needed .
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
