Job Summary
HireFrontier is seeking a Procurement Student Intern to support purchasing, vendor coordination, and supply chain administration. This internship offers hands-on exposure to procurement processes, ideal for students studying business, supply chain, or operations management.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and processing purchase orders
Support vendor research, quotes, and communication
Maintain procurement records, contracts, and pricing data
Help track inventory levels and delivery timelines
Assist with cost comparisons and basic procurement reporting
Support compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a business, supply chain, or related degree program
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle confidential vendor/pricing information
Preferred Skills
Coursework in procurement, supply chain management, or logistics
Familiarity with ERP or procurement software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Strong negotiation and vendor communication interest
