Key Job Details – Texas Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Celina, TX 75009 (North Texas, near Dallas-Fort Worth)
• Assignment Length: 12 weeks (August 25, 2025 – November 17, 2025)
• Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (07:00 – 15:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On Call: Every other week, Monday through Sunday
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing Contract
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 - $2,180

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record (EHR) charting system
• Demonstrated skills in: 12 Lead EKG, ACT, antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, central line insertion/management, blood product administration, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, emergency medications, IV infusion pumps, pacemaker insertion, procedural sedation, sheath removal, and related clinical tasks
• Ability to complete required online modules (8-12 hours) prior to start or during orientation

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Circulate and assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and respond to cardiac emergencies as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EHR system
• Participate in on-call rotation every other week, providing clinical support as required
