Lithko Contracting is looking for a Traveling Concrete General Superintendent to join our Travel Team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning the execution phase of large-scale projects. You will collaborate closely with the operational team to create an overall project plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing a project plan for their phase of work.
- Understands project information and is able to identify obstacles and opportunities for their phase of work.
- Prepares their team to execute using defined planning processes.
- Ensures their team has staged equipment, materials, and workstations for optimal output.
- Utilizes and tracks time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign in & sign out sheets.
- Responsible for ensuring project execution goals are met for their portion of work.
- Communicates project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A minimum of five years of progressive experience in project execution with a large-scale self-performing general contractor or concrete contracting firm.
- Demonstrated experience in self-performing concrete work is required.
- Candidates should possess a diverse portfolio of project types, with a particular emphasis on commercial and industrial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction principles and practices is essential, along with experience managing projects valued at over $1 million.
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive successful outcomes for projects.
- A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is highly preferred.
- Candidates must be willing to travel nationwide and be present on-site according to a rotating schedule during project builds, with the ability to accommodate extended stays as necessary.
