Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst Specialist to support enterprise reporting, data analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather business requirements, analyze complex data, develop reporting solutions, and transform business needs into actionable insights. This role requires strong analytical, SQL, and data visualization skills, along with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate complex business and operational requirements into clear, actionable data queries and technical specifications.
• Perform complex data analysis to support business operations, strategic planning, and enterprise reporting.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and manipulation across multiple data sources.
• Collaborate with business users, performance analysts, and IT teams to design, develop, validate, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Present technical findings, data insights, and data limitations in a clear, concise manner for business and executive stakeholders.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
• Support data governance initiatives by promoting data quality standards and reporting best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation for business requirements, reporting logic, data definitions, and analytical processes.
• Develop training materials and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to improve data literacy across the organization.
• Mentor users with varying levels of technical expertise on reporting tools, analytics, and data interpretation.
• Support AI-enabled analytics initiatives by developing standardized AI prompts, validating AI-generated outputs, and promoting responsible AI usage.
• Stay current with emerging Business Intelligence, analytics, visualization, and AI technologies to recommend continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience gathering business requirements and translating complex data requests and operational requirements into actionable technical solutions.
• 10+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Liaison role supporting enterprise analytics.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• 10+ years of experience collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to develop and validate reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• 10+ years of experience communicating technical findings and data limitations to non-technical users.
• 10+ years of experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau .
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse environments.
• Experience supporting highly regulated industries with complex reporting and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and enterprise reporting principles.
• Experience developing and delivering data literacy training for business users.
• Experience mentoring users with varying levels of technical and analytical expertise.
• Experience creating AI prompt libraries or catalogs using tools such as Streamlit with Python.
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices and AI governance standards.
