Physical Therapy Assistant (POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN HOUSTON, TEXAS AND SURROUNDING AREAS)
Job Summary: Tri-FLEXSI Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking experienced Physical Therapy Assistants for our locations in Houston, Texas and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, individual contributor role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The Physical Therapy Assistant will work closely with the physical therapist to assist in providing high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others improve their quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Assist the physical therapist in carrying out treatment plans and exercises for patients
- Monitor and document patient progress and report to the physical therapist
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, exercises, and mobility as directed by the physical therapist
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve their condition and prevent future injuries
- Communicate effectively and coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, preferably in a home health setting
- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
