Credentialing Specialist - Corporate

Job Summary: Manages the full-cycle credentialing and privileging process for DoD candidates, ensuring accurate verification, compliance, and timely coordination of interviews, approvals, security, occupational health, and onboarding requirements. Serves as the primary liaison for candidates and clients throughout the process, maintaining critical timelines, regulatory documentation, quality standards, and performance metrics to support successful placements.
Required Qualifications:
- Government contracting credentialing experience is required
- Strong oral and written communication skills

U.S. Citizenship is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages full cycle credential or privilege process for all DoD candidates and clients
- Manages and maintains critical timelines
- Conducts 2nd Interview with privileged providers to discuss privilege process
- Presents candidates for all personal service contract approval
- Coordinates interviews between DoD sites and candidates
- Credentialing and Privileging packages: collect and primary source verify credentials, education, license(s) and certifications
- Completes all employment verifications and reference checks
- Security packages: collect security documents, ids, coordinate fingerprint appointment and eQIP
- Occupational Health Packages: reviews current records, compile concise list of outstanding items
- Completes DoD employment verification form
- Responsible for client relations for 2 16 weeks during the credentialing/privileging
- Provides candidate support and engagement during process
- Maintains Joint Commission and MQS worksheet for corporate office
- Tracks dates/delays to assist with company metrics
Work Environment & Schedule: Hybrid/Remote, flexible hours required to meet the needs of the candidate.
Physical requirements: May be required to lift 20-25 pounds independently. Position requires long periods of sitting in an office setting.
