Through its robust suite of tools, Realtor.com® not only makes a significant impact on the real estate industry at large, but for consumers, navigating the biggest purchase they will make in their life, by providing a user experience that is easy to use, easy to understand, and most of all, easy to make decisions.

Join us on our mission to empower more people to find their way home by breaking barriers to entry, making the right connections, and building confidence through expert guidance.

At Realtor.com, we’re on a mission to revolutionize the way people find and secure their dream homes. Every day, we process terabytes of data to power intelligent search and personalized recommendations that serve millions of home buyers, renters, and real estate professionals. Our core search engine sits at the heart of this experience—helping users discover the right home faster, with greater confidence.

As Principal Product Manager for Notifications, Orchestration, User & Geo Intelligence, you will define and lead the strategy for a suite of foundational capabilities that power personalized, timely, and context-aware experiences across Realtor.com’s platform. These systems are critical to understanding our users’ intent, surfacing relevant content, and delivering the right message through the right channel at the right time.

You will be responsible for building scalable systems that understand user preferences, extract intelligence from geographic and behavioral data, and orchestrate personalized experiences across touchpoints—including email, push, in-app, and on-site surfaces. Your work will play a vital role in improving user engagement, driving retention, and enabling other product teams to move faster through reusable, intelligent services.

This is a highly strategic and cross-functional role, visible at the executive level, with the opportunity to transform how users interact with Realtor.com by infusing personalization, intelligence, and orchestration into every experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Define and execute a visionary roadmap for Notification Infrastructure, Orchestration Services, and User & Geo Intelligence platforms—enabling contextual, lifecycle-aware messaging and personalized content delivery.

  • Lead efforts to deeply understand our users by consolidating behavioral signals, inferred preferences, and geo-spatial data into actionable user intelligence models.

  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to build and scale real-time, event-driven orchestration engines that power personalized journeys and messaging flows across platforms.

  • Develop a long-term vision for notification delivery (push, email, in-app) rooted in experimentation, engagement impact, user trust, and message effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with product teams across the company to integrate user and geo intelligence into search, recommendations, marketing campaigns, and CRM workflows.

  • Drive adoption of reusable personalization services and orchestration primitives that unlock scalable and consistent user experiences across product surfaces.

  • Champion system reliability, latency, scalability, and experimentation architecture in collaboration with platform and infrastructure teams.

  • Evangelize your roadmap and product vision clearly across the company, delivering executive-level updates and articulating measurable impact.

How we work:

We balance creativity and innovation on a foundation of in-person collaboration. For most roles, our employees work three or more days in our offices, where they have the opportunity to collaborate in-person, adding richness to our culture and knitting us closer together.

What you'll bring:

  • 12+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years owning backend platforms or infrastructure services related to personalization, messaging systems, orchestration, or user intelligence.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • A strong strategic mindset with a demonstrated ability to define platform roadmaps that scale across multiple product domains.

  • Proven track record of driving impact through intelligent messaging platforms, real-time orchestration engines, or user modeling systems.

  • Familiarity with key technologies and architectures such as Kafka, AWS event streaming, rule-based engines, geo-intelligence frameworks, and identity systems.

  • A deep understanding of experimentation frameworks and how to measure impact through engagement, retention, and lifecycle conversion metrics.

  • Strong data literacy; comfortable working with SQL, KPIs, dashboards, and partnering with data science on model iteration and success criteria.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive decisions and align technical execution with strategic business goals.

  • A passion for crafting personalized, respectful, and value-driven user experiences that scale.

How we Reward you:

Realtor.com is committed to investing in the health and wellbeing of our employees and their families. Our benefits programs include, but are not limited to:
