We are currently looking for a talented Cashier to join our team. The Cashier provides excellent guest satisfaction, service speed, and product quality Previous experience working in a cafe or quick service restaurant preferred Show passion about results by setting compelling targets and delivering on commitments Meet safety and sanitation standards . Anticipate and understand guests' needs and exceed their expectations Works well in a team environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collects cash/checks or processes charge payments for guests
- Ensures an accurate accounting of all transactions, collections, and disbursements during work shift
- Greets guests as they enter
- Answers the phone and cleans as necessary
- Sets up cash drawer and follows security procedures
- Completes opening and/or closing checklists
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be pleasant, personable, and friendly
- Must exhibit a sense of urgency
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, co-workers, management, and others
- Must be able to remain stationary for periods of up to four hours
