Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform high?quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations, ensure patient safety, and uphold regulatory standards. This position is primarily structured for travel assignments , making it ideal for sonographers who excel in diverse clinical environments and enjoy exploring new locations.
Responsibilities
- Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high?quality diagnostic images.
- Position patients properly, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to review and assess imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Follow strict infection?control standards and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly.
- Adapt quickly to different facility workflows and contribute positively to each healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- ARDMS or CCI certification required (additional state licensure if applicable).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging preferred.
- Proficiency in abdominal, vascular, OB/GYN, and cardiac ultrasound techniques.
- Excellent communication, critical?thinking, and patient?care skills.
- Willingness and ability to accept travel assignments across multiple facilities.
