UX PRODUCTION DESIGNER

Location: Austin, Texas Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $60 - 65 per hour

Cella is in search of a UX Production Designer to join the design strategy team at our client, a highly respected and well-known financial and retirement advisor company, in Austin, Texas!

As a UX Production Designer, you will be assisting the creative division within Enterprise Marketing for our client in the Financial industry. In your role, you will report to the UX Strategy Lead supporting the production of crucial design components that will help enhance and build out core elements of their Design System asset library.

This person will not be designing the components of the library but will have the responsibility of owning the maintenance of the components, training on usage, etc. This is an 18-month hybrid (onsite 3 days/week) contract with full-time hours. Responsibilities:

• Own the Beacon Design library in Figma. This includes moving all component designs to the Figma library post-release, following the proper setup and structure, and overall keeping the library and all components up to date.
• Become the internal Figma SME. (i.e. assisting internal and external partners on how to it's used, hosting demos, managing quarterly communications regarding updates to functionality, etc.)
• Support content management and updates through Bynder and Figma design library.
• Create and publish authoring guides and tutorial videos for net new components and component enhancements.
• Partner with UX Research peers to provide any artifacts/stim needed for user testing.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Education: Bachelors
• Minimum of 6 years of experience.
• Deep familiarity working on a digital design system and understanding of atomic-based design.
• Proficiency in Figma, including the ability to train others in Figma.
• Experience with Jira and working with a product delivery team in agile processes.
• Familiarity with content management systems.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Self-starter, including the ability to self-manage multiple tasks at one time.
• Clear and polished communication and presentation style.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally on a widely distributed team.
