BRAVE Books is looking for a highly experienced and visionary Sr. Marketing Manager to lead our dynamic marketing team. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of marketing professionals, including designers and developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives, with a strong focus on brand building and market expansion.
• Take ownership of our customer acquisition cost (CAC), implementing innovative strategies and tactics to optimize spend and maximize ROI across all channels.
• Design and execute robust churn reduction strategies and tactics to improve customer retention and lifetime value.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams (e.g., product, sales, customer service) and external partners (e.g., agencies, vendors) to achieve marketing goals.
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, from conceptualization and copywriting to launch and analysis, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness.
• Leverage your expertise in CRM and marketing automation tools (specifically Klaviyo) to segment audiences, personalize communications, and automate workflows for maximum impact.
• Be an early adopter of AI technologies within marketing, identifying and implementing cutting-edge solutions to enhance efficiency, personalization, and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive customer journey.
• Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decisions.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• 5+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Proven e-commerce experience is required, with a deep understanding of online consumer behavior and digital sales funnels.
• Demonstrable success in reducing CAC and implementing effective churn reduction strategies.
• Exceptional understanding of brand strategy and the ability to translate it into actionable marketing initiatives.
• Strong copywriting skills with a portfolio showcasing your ability to craft compelling and brand-aligned messaging for various platforms.
• Expertise in Klaviyo or similar advanced CRM/marketing automation platforms.
• A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for AI and its application in marketing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
