Accounts Receivable Specialist - CORPORATE

Job Description

Roberts Truck Center of Texas, a locally owned heavy duty truck dealership that has been in business for 45 years, is seeking an individual to join our Accounts Receivable Team as a full time Accounts Receivable Clerk in our Amarillo, TX office. This position receives, researches, and resolves any customer calls for Roberts Truck Center.

Job Duties:

• Prepare daily deposits and complete cash control sheet.


• Enter finalized cash receipts and update accounts receivable ledger by customer.


• Obtain and mail invoice copies for customers, as requested.


• Process daily credit card deposits.


• File check stubs and bank receipts.


• Research and process customer claims of invoice payment.


• Research and process charge backs, returns, and bad checks.


• Answer accounts receivable phone inquiries and follow up.


• Call and/or mail correspondence to customers as necessary in order to update accounts.


• Assist with related special projects, as required.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in Excel and Word


• Execede Accounts Payable software experience preferred


• Some knowledge of basic accounting principles and standards


• Able to handle deadlines


• Attention to detail


• Able to take direction


• Proficient with 10-key calculator


• High School Degree and preferably some college in a related field


• Preferred but not required 2-3 years experience in dealership accounting


• Able to handle all types of customer accounts


• Must be able to pass the pre-employment drug screening and background check

Experience:

• Excede: 2 years (Preferred)


• Accounts Receivable: 2 years (Required)
