Human Resources Manager
- Knowledge of principles and practices of management including planning, organizing, directing, motivating and decision making.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource management, to include a knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing personnel activities.

- Lead and develop HR Business Partners and HR team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous professional growth.
- Provide strategic guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolutions; oversee and review investigations conducted by HRBPs.
- Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support, professional counsel, advice, and service to university constituents to help facilitate the success of the university's mission, and serves on campuswide committees.
- Partner with senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession strategies, aligning HR initiatives with institutional goals.
- Maintains an effective level of business acumen regarding the higher education industry, institutional knowledge and literacy regarding business units, including core business, culture, and short- and long-range plans.
- Leads special projects and initiatives, conducts research and leveraging data analysis to identify trends, and develops and implements action plans to achieve organizational goals.
- Maintain deep knowledge of employment laws and higher education HR trends, proactively mitigating risk and partnering with legal counsel as needed.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- No adverse environmental conditions expected.
