Spare Parts Specialist

MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF RECENT LOGISTICS EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Spare Parts Specialist to fill a position for a Solar Manufacturing company in Houston, TX .

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Requirements for Spare Parts Specialist:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Experience in spare-parts management, inventory operations, supply chain, or technical service environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to safely lift and handle materials in a warehouse or training environment.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Prior experience in roles such as Inventory Specialist, Warehouse Associate, Supply Chain Coordinator, Technical Support, or Materials Coordinator is a plus!

Responsibilities of the Spare Parts Specialist:

• Manage spare-parts inventory and ensure stock availability for service operations.
• Identify and verify components using BOMs and technical documentation.
• Process spare-parts orders for internal teams, customers, and vendors.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and warehouse activities.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, substitutions, and lifecycle updates.
• Prepare spare-parts kits and materials for training sessions.
• Support repair operations with component identification and failure analysis.
• Update spare-parts documents, lists, and support materials for engineers and partners.
