Receiving Clerk

This role supports the manufacturing of cash sorting machines by accurately receiving, documenting, and moving incoming field return parts and materials. The Receiving Clerk ensures all items are processed correctly in the system, delivered to the appropriate departments, and handled safely in a fast-paced production and warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming field return parts and verify accuracy against documentation.
• Maintain accurate and complete receiving records, ensuring attention to detail in all documentation.
• Complete all receiving documentation and computer data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform data entry and system updates related to inventory, put-away, and cycle counts.
• Print and apply labels to materials and parts as required.
• Lift and move boxes and materials, including items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and perform physical work for approximately 80% of the workday.
• Move received materials to designated departments and storage locations within the facility.
• Support material handling activities such as put-away and inventory organization.
• Assist with cycle counts and basic inventory control tasks as needed.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including health and safety requirements.
• Adhere to the strict no cell phone policy within the warehouse and production areas.
• Demonstrate good attendance, punctuality, and flexibility in daily tasks.

• Basic computer skills, including the ability to perform data entry.
• Ability to accurately receive and document incoming materials and parts.
• Capability to lift and carry boxes and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and perform physical work for approximately 80% of the day.
• Strong attention to detail in documentation, labeling, and inventory handling.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.

• Experience with receiving, material handling, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with inventory tasks such as put-away and cycle counts.
• Experience printing and applying labels in a production or warehouse setting.
• Flexibility to assist with various tasks within the production and warehouse areas as needed.

Work Environment

The position is based in a facility that includes both a climate-controlled production area and a non-climate-controlled warehouse. The role is physically active, requiring standing for most of the day and regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. You will work around manufacturing and warehouse equipment while following established health and safety procedures. A strict no cell phone policy applies within the warehouse and production areas, and maintaining a clean, organized work area is expected.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carrollton, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
