Fleet Asset Analyst

:

Malin's Fleet Asset Analyst are very hands-on with all accounting functions. The successful person will be detail-oriented, pay close attention to detail (you are working with money), high sense of confidentiality and have a passion for math and reporting. • Analyze the trends of key performance indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenses, and profit margin.
• Monitor KPIs on a continuous basis to identify the cause of any unexpected variances and suggest opportunities for improvement.
• Ad-hoc business performance reporting.
• Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments.
• Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports.
• Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives.

• Partner with Executive Management, Sales and Finance to determine fleet inventory levels
• Partner with Executive Management to develop processes and strategies to achieve Fiscal Year targets
• Manage and monitor KPI's, identifying opportunities for improvement
• Create processes with vertical team Managers to align with Company objectives
• Must have experience monitoring a fleet of vehicles or forklifts to ensure usage amounts are acceptable, meeting company expectations

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business with an emphasis in accounting required
• Two or more years of prior experience in accounting required
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office application - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
