Job Description:
Addison Group is actively seeking a Shipping Specialist to support our client in the mortgage banking industry. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in shipping operations within mortgage or banking, who is detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced, document-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake and handling of physical loan documents
- Accurately scan, package, and prepare outbound shipments via FedEx
- Maintain records of inbound and outbound shipping activity
- Ensure compliance with internal and external shipping procedures
- Collaborate with internal departments to confirm documentation accuracy and completeness
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of shipping or collateral experience within the mortgage industry
- Familiarity with warehouse lending operations or mortgage banking processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of documentation
- Proficient in using scanning equipment and shipping systems (e.g., FedEx)
