Immigration Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Immigration Specialist to join our in-house Legal Team in Austin, TX. This role focuses on establishing and managing employment-based immigration processes, with a primary emphasis on PERM labor certification for green card sponsorship and a wide range of non-immigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, etc.). The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced corporate environment, possesses deep expertise in business immigration, and is dedicated to supporting talent acquisition and retention through efficient and compliant immigration solutions. What You'll Do Analyze and optimize the existing PERM lifecycle to increase efficiency while ensuring full complianceCoordinate with hiring managers, recruiters, and external vendors on PERM processes and non-immigrant visa casesTrack and manage timelines for PERM filings, I-140 petitions, and Adjustment of Status (AOS) or consular processingOversee visa maintenance, including timely extensions, amendments, and change of status filingsOptimize internal systems to automate immigration processes where feasibleAdvise internal stakeholders on visa eligibility, travel risks, and compliance requirementsManage relationships with external vendors to ensure seamless case handling What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years of hands-on business immigration paralegal experience with a focus on high-volume PERM labor certification and H-1B/L-1 petitionsThorough knowledge of the PERM process, prevailing wage determinations, and recruitment requirementsAbility to communicate complex immigration processes clearly to stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and strong project management skills Benefits
