The JF Petroleum Group stands as a premier leader in the North American fueling infrastructure industry, offering comprehensive turn-key solutions for distribution, construction, and service needs. We serve a diverse clientele including retail fueling stations, commercial and government fleets, and emergency power customers.
Job Duties:
- Serves as a consultant to customers requiring solutions in the automotive shop and fleet repair facilities
- Manages customer relationship and serves as lead point of contact for assigned accounts
- Develops quotes and proposals to meet customer requirements
- Creates new business activity by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
- Collaborates with our supplier base to stay current on all price lists and product literature
- Keeps management informed by submitting reports on results and activity
- Collaborates with our service and construction teams to develop and submit competitive proposals to meet customer needs
- Solves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and working closely with our supplier representatives
- Promotes repair service and installation opportunities along with equipment sales
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Core Competencies:
- A high level of Sales Acumen including but not limited to the ability to
- Develop and effectively deliver and close on customer proposals
- Apply proven discovery processes and skills to determine customer needs
- Develop proposals which successfully balance customer needs with JF Petroleum profitability requirements
- Successfully negotiate and close on customer proposals
- Follow-up on and close assigned sales leads
- Develop and manage relationships with customers.
- A high degree of product knowledge specific to our industry and/or a demonstrated willingness to quickly learn the fundamental products and services offered by JF Petroleum Group
- Highschool Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years of sales/business development experience (required)
- Proven track record of sales success
- Consultative selling skills
- Automotive, Auto repair, Petroleum and/or Commercial Fleet experience
- Exemplary communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated; able to work independently without daily supervision
- Strong organization skills, project management, territory management
- Authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to meet company’s employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR, if driving for the company
