If you have a desire to learn and enjoy interacting with customers, we are currently hiring Barn Cashier at our store on Hwy 365 in Nederland, TX.

 Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in friendly conversation

 Adjust to customer flow by always being on the move and available to provide assistance to customers and co workers

 Assists customers requests for orders or information on products or services

 Directs or assists customers to product location

 Provides information about product usage, availability, and application

 Comply with all cash handling rules and procedures

 Responsible for cash balance at end of shift

 Ability to learn and share expertise of products to fit customers' needs.

 Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge and current or upcoming promotions

 Maintains inventory and displays within assigned area to merchandising standards.

 Follows Standard Operating Procedures.

 Maintains standard of cleanliness and organization

 Performs other duties as assigned.

 Job is in outside environment

Requirements

 Must be at least 16 years of age

 Knowledge of lumber and building materials

 Dependable with a high level of integrity

 Pre-employment drug test/physical/background check will help assure we build teams of people who can best work with others and serve the needs of our customers

 Accurate cash handling and math skills

 Ability to communicate with all ages, genders, and personalities

 Work in a standing position for extended periods of time. *Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions

 Ability to lift 30lbs consistently
