Communication and Mass Media Job Description
- Assist faculty (Primary Investigator) on his research project, "Hallyu on Netflix: A critical discourse analysis & audience analysis of Squid Game."
- Student research assistants will be involved in the various stages of research (data implementation, collection, and analysis), for the textual analysis of the drama and the audience analysis with public/social media commentaries.
- All undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in ASU.
- Students who are interested in joining a faculty-led research project.
- Students who are familiar with the Korean-drama on Netflix and Korean/Asian culture.
- Students who have research experiences in pop-culture phenomena.
- Students who have participated in faculty-led research projects.
- Students who are able to participate in a research project.
