Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Onsite)

Pay: $20.00 / Per Hour

Job Description

The Medical Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in through check-out while supporting administrative and scheduling functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Answer inbound calls, address inquiries, and route messages appropriately
• Collect copays and maintain accurate payment records
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information
• Scan and upload documentation into the EMR system
• Support overall front office workflow and assist team members as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of recent (within the past year) front desk experience in a medical setting is required
• Experience in family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, or specialty clinics preferred
• Familiarity with EMR systems

Additional Details

• Must be able and willing to travel to Houston, TX for one week of training. All travel-related expenses, including hotel accommodations, mileage reimbursement, and meals, will be covered
• Contract-to-hire opportunity with immediate start preferred
