Our hospice client is looking for an energetic, mission-driven Director of Business Development to lead growth initiatives, coach and mentor a dynamic team of liaisonstrengthen community partnerships and help more patients and families access exceptional end-of-life care.
What You'll Do
As the Director of Business Development, you'll be the driving force behind community engagement and referral growth. You'll work closely with healthcare providers, community organizations, and leadership teams to expand awareness of hospice services and strengthen the brand throughout the community.
Your Responsibilities
- Coach, mentor and lead a dynamic sales team.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drives access and overall growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral partners.
- Identify new business opportunities and community partnerships.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Represent the organization at networking events, conferences, and community functions.
- Track, monitor, and report key performance metrics and growth initiatives.
The Hope
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare business development, sales, or marketing leadership experience.
- Hospice, home health, palliative care, or post-acute care experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving growth goals and developing referral relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
- Ability to travel throughout the service area as needed.
