Assistant Director of Public Works – City of Rowlett

• Lead and support operations across multiple Public Works divisions.
• Drive infrastructure and capital improvement projects from planning to execution.
• Oversee budgets, contracts, and resource allocation.
• Develop and mentor teams while building strong operational culture.
• Partner with City leadership, engineers, contractors, and the community.
• Help shape long-term infrastructure planning and resilience efforts.

What You Bring:

• 15+ years of progressively responsible experience in public works, construction, or infrastructure.
• Strong leadership experience (you’ve led teams and delivered results).
• Experience with budgets, capital projects, and operational strategy.
• Ability to navigate complex projects, priorities, and stakeholders.
• Municipal experience preferred.
