POSITION IMPACT: As Plant Director, you’ll lead our client’s Dallas, TX bottling and distribution facility with full responsibility for overall performance. This position will report directly to a Regional Vice President.

LOCATION: The Plant Director will work at our client’s Dallas facility, about 25 minutes south of DFW Airport and less than 30 minutes SW from the center of Dallas. Relocation assistance is available for strong candidates currently in the USA.WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Develop and retain great talent – build a strong, engaged leadership team and invest in employee growth through mentoring, development, and clear career pathways. Directly manage 4-6 managers and 200+ total employees (non-union).
- Create a culture of respect and belonging – foster a positive environment where every team member feels valued, heard, and able to contribute to shared success.
- Champion holistic facility performance – oversee the full spectrum of operational and performance metrics a 24/7 bottling and distribution facility, ensuring success in a way that supports both people and the planet.
- Deliver business results with integrity – manage the facility’s financial performance (P&L) and ensure customer satisfaction while aligning operations with sustainable, responsible practices.
- Prioritize safety and quality of life – serve as a visible advocate for national Safety and Quality programs, ensuring every employee has a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace.
- Collaborate for impact – build strong relationships with fellow plant leaders, corporate partners, and cross-functional groups like Logistics and Tankering to ensure smooth operations and sustainable resource use.
- Plan for excellence – partner with the scheduling team to build efficient production plans that balance business needs with environmental stewardship.
- Advance continuous improvement – embed Continuous Excellence and Total Performance Management (TPM) methodologies to drive innovation, efficiency, and responsible growth.
- Ensure responsible compliance – lead operations in full alignment with company policy, as well as all Federal, State, and local environmental and safety regulations.
- Be a community partner – build trusted relationships with local stakeholders, ensuring the facility contributes positively to the surrounding community and environment.
IDEAL PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a closely related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including cross-functional assignments, with a minimum of 3 years in a hands-on plant leadership role in a comparable size (200 emps), overseeing managers and frontline teams. Experience driving or helping with a turnaround preferred. Solid job history, no job hopping!
- Background in consumer-packaged goods is required; food or beverage industry experience is strongly valued, as is prior work in filling, canning or bottling in a 24/7 environment.
- Solid technical expertise in plant operations, warehousing, and distribution, along with a broad understanding of key support functions such as finance, planning, safety, quality, and HR.
- A leadership style grounded in integrity, authenticity, and strong personal character.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to easily connect with and relate to the hourly workforce — approachable, engaging, and able to build rapport across all levels.
- Proficiency with digital tools, including Microsoft Office applications and enterprise systems (Any top-tier ERP platform – SAP and Oracle EBS would be a big PLUS!).
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams through operational excellence and cultural transformation initiatives.
- History of building engaged, high-performing teams and fostering a workplace culture rooted in collaboration and respect.
- Experience mentoring and developing leaders while achieving performance goals through effective people management.
- Hands-on exposure to continuous improvement practices, with Six Sigma, Lean, or TPM (Total Performance Management) expertise considered a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to work a standard Monday-Friday shift and be flexible and available for “on-call”
- Candidates residing withing a commutable distance to Dallas, TX (75236) preferred. Will consider those willing to relocate from within the USA at time of joining.
