Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required. Client prefers experience with 60-minute evaluations and one-on-one treatment sessions.
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical record systems, including goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- Ability to evaluate patients, develop and modify individualized treatment plans, and delegate or direct discipline-specific therapy services.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe patient handling, infectious disease precautions, and clinic safety procedures.
- Maintain professional licensure in good standing and complete state-mandated continuing education as required.
- Preferred: experience supervising students and participating in clinical education.
