Job Title: RN - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: Candidates must have EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, and C-Section circulation experience. 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery is required. Description: This is a contract position for a registered nurse in the Labor and Delivery specialty. The role involves working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. There are no call requirements for this position. Patients are cared for at a 1:2 ratio. The unit has 32 beds and a staff of 150. The team includes a charge nurse and a co-charge nurse during each shift. The available equipment includes Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates are expected to adhere to the attendance policy. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a positive attitude and be team players. In addition, experience in a Level IV unit and internal monitor placement competency are preferred. Typical procedures performed include SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, and TOLAC. Dress code consists of navy blue scrubs, with solid blue, black, or gray sweatshirts permitted. Candidates must avoid wearing T-shirts or unacceptable attire.
