Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
Assist physicians during catheterization and interventional procedures.
Participate in continuous education and training programs.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Monitor and evaluate patient vital signs during procedures.
Contribute to achieving departmental targets and objectives.
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Document and report imaging results accurately and promptly.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Engage in performance reviews and set personal development goals.
Utilize data to assess and improve procedural efficiency.
Experience/Qualifications
Certification in cardiovascular technology or equivalent experience required.
Proven experience in cardiac catheterization procedures and imaging techniques.
Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Strong understanding of patient safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Ability to monitor and assess patient vital signs effectively.
Ability to set and achieve personal performance goals.
Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining imaging equipment.
Strong documentation skills for accurate imaging result reporting.
Willingness to engage in performance reviews and feedback sessions.
