Multi-Site Leader

Orbia
Texas

At Dura-Line, we aspire to create a more connected world, because we believe every company, every community, every person deserves the chance to advance their lives through better access to high-speed broadband. We take pride in our state-of-the-art quality products and being recognized a key partner with all of the major telecommunications companies across the world. In one year, Dura-Line produced over 1.4 billion feet of digital network infrastructure. Dura-Line creates what connects us. Every time you pick up your cell phone, log into the internet, or use your i-anything, it’s because our HDPE pathways protect that delicate string of glass called a fiber optic cable that carries everything from precious pictures of your puppy to the latest sports scores. Your safety, health, family, work, entertainment…your whole life; that’s our connection.

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Site Leader to oversee our manufacturing plants in the North America region. This is a key leadership role supporting a growing operation, where you will take responsibility for the day-to-day and long-term success of our 24/7 manufacturing teams. If you are a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to drive results without compromising safety or team morale, we would love to hear from you. Ideal candidates are located near Gainesville, TX (Dallas area) or Elyria, OH (Cleveland area).

You play a critical role in balancing the needs of our people, our customers, and the business. That includes setting priorities, developing your team, and keeping operations on track from meeting production targets to making sure we deliver on time, every time. Expect to travel about 70% of the time across your region, with remote work when you are not on site.

What kind of leader are we looking for?

You bring clarity and confidence to every challenge. You know how to work independently but also how to bring people together around a shared goal. You are comfortable solving complex problems, making quick decisions when needed, and thinking a few steps ahead. You know when to push, when to listen, and how to keep things moving even under pressure. Most importantly, you lead by example, not just by title.

In this role, you oversee Plant Managers in your region and collaborate closely with teams across departments and geographies. You influence outcomes without always having direct authority — so strong relationships, good judgment, and communication skills are key.

What makes this opportunity unique?

This is more than a role in plant operations; it is a chance to help shape the future of how we work. You will be involved in key cross-functional initiatives including EHSS, Engineering, SIOP, Quality, Operations Excellence, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial strategy all through the lens of operations. Your voice will matter here.

  • Leadership & People Development: Guide and influence plant teams across multiple locations. Be responsible for decisions that directly impact safety, production, profitability, product quality, employee development, and overall team morale.
  • LEAN & Continuous Improvement: Build a structure where needed and foster a culture where everyone looks for smarter, better ways to improve processes & products.
  • Project Management & Budgeting: Take ownership of operational and capital budgets, align resources, and drive performance with financial discipline.
  • Accountability & Performance: Be comfortable having tough conversations, when necessary, whether it is giving feedback, managing performance, or helping someone grow.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: You do not guess. You gather facts, dig into root causes, and use data to guide improvements across processes, staffing, and equipment.

What are the required qualifications?

You must have at least 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, including 3+ years as a Plant Manager in a 24/7 operation business. A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business, engineering, or a related field is required. Strong business acumen, budgeting, and capital project experience are essential. Familiarity with manufacturing systems and solid Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.) will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage ~6 Plant Managers, holding them accountable to meet their short-term and long-term commitments.
  • Guide all aspects of the 24/7 manufacturing operations across the sites to achieve short and long-term goals to meet customer and company expectations and ensure on-time production and shipment of conforming products and materials.
  • Establish, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure all operations comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies, maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, and ethical conduct.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, including sales, marketing, and finance teams, and all Global Operations functions to align operational strategies with business objectives and support overall company growth.
  • Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources, cost control, and financial planning to maximize profitability.

Position Challenges:

  • Direct 24/7 operations in varying demand / seasonal business.
  • Bridge between commercial expectations and plant capabilities.
  • Supports and implements corporate initiatives and directives through indirect influence with the multiple leadership teams.
  • May oversee facilities in multiple countries and time zones.

What do we offer?

  • We offer 401k with a 6% company match (the company will automatically contribute an extra 3% of your plan-eligible pay to your 401k)
  • Multi-tier benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) that you can tailor for yourself and your dependents, which include Employer-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, & Life Insurance
  • Wellness Employee Assistance Program (EAP), paid parental leave, Fitness & Weight-loss Reimbursement
  • Inclusion in our annual Short-Term Incentive plan
  • Additional benefits include tuition reimbursement, 11 paid company holidays, vacation and sick time, career development opportunities, and many other benefits in a collaborative culture that focuses on work life balance, innovation, and teamwork. Benefits start on day one!

“The compensation for this position will typically range from $185,000 -$300,000. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.

The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare coverage, a 401(k)-retirement savings plan, paid company holidays, paid vacation time, paid sick time, parental leave, short- and long-term disability leave, and an employee assistance program.
