We’re honored to welcome The Driskill Hotel into the MML family—revitalizing Austin’s most iconic hotel while honoring its storied past. Within the hotel, The Victorian brings new energy to a timeless space: a reimagined Western pub featuring a two-level barroom, mezzanine lounge, live music, bold cocktails, and elevated fare.

As a Cocktail Server at The Victorian, you’ll deliver attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service in a high-energy bar and lounge setting. We’re looking for someone who is outgoing, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating memorable guest experiences through exceptional service and strong menu knowledge.

What you'll do:

• Greet guests and provide warm, professional service throughout their visit
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine
• Take and deliver drink and food orders accurately and efficiently
• Anticipate guest needs and upsell items to enhance their experience
• Communicate with bartenders and barbacks to ensure seamless service
• Handle payments and process transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lounge and service stations
• Support teammates and complete other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Active TABC certification required
• Minimum 1 year of serving experience, preferably in a bar, lounge, or cocktail-focused environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required
• Strong knowledge of cocktails and spirits, with a willingness to learn more
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure with all restaurant staff

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking per shift
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
