Locum Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Critical Care

We are hiring Pediatric Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioners in the HEART of TEXAS to support an outstanding Children's Hospital in Texas during their expansion of their Pediatric ICU!! If you are Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant looking for an awesome LOCUM, Locum to Perm or PERM opportunity our team is growing!!!

Join one of the leaders in the country in a LOCUM Capacity starting at 13-weeks with a DEFINITE extension for at least 9 - 12 months!! We will pay for your flights to get you there, rental car and lodging!!

The candidate must have at least one year of pediatric critical care advanced practice provider experience. Well rounded program with an exceptional team! Would be working in a large 40 Bed PICU that is doubling and potentially a BRAND NEW PICU in a sister location as well!!

The candidate would be routinely performing Lumbar Punctures, femoral central venous line placement, peripheral arterial line placement, and rarely pigtail chest tube insertion, and intubation. Candidate must have ventilator management experience. Servo ventilators, LTV, and Trilogy vents are the vents the candidate would use.

Commitment: Full Time Coverage 12+ Shifts every four weeks, or a Minimum of 6 shifts!! So flexibility for you!!

Shift: Locums will be required to work Day/Night, Holiday & Weekend shifts.

Shifts: 13-hour shifts

Licensure: TX 'in hand' highly preferred!! Will consider candidate who are "in process"

Quick emergency credentialing in under 2 months!
