Overview:

Strategic Technologies Analytics Group (STAG) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a DOD customer. You will work with a capability development team to design, develop, document, test, debug, and integrate applications over various technologies. Our ideal candidate will leverage their cyber-development background to conduct the following: 1) Cyberspace Capability and Tools aligned to analysis, 2) Familiarization, Documentation, and Provisioning, and 3) Technology Development Support and potentially Sustainment to Operations.

Job Description:

In this role, you will conduct the following duties:

• Analyze requirements, concept of operations, and high-level system architectures to develop software requirements.
• Conducts design and development activities.
• Incorporates risk analysis and mitigation throughout the programming life cycle.
• Support review and testing of code and/or ensure adherence to the design requirements.
• Refines / debugs code based upon functional evaluation, customer feedback, and/or operational requirements.
• Conducts functionality evaluation of code to ensure performance and that the function works as designed.
• Conducts interoperability testing to ensure the application and/or code will work in the destination environment.
• Provides inputs into provisioning, testing, and simulated environment configurations.
• Contributes to technical documentation writing, such as initial control documents, requirement specifications, and/or capability descriptions of functionality, such as user manuals.
• Supports integration efforts of newly developed code/application into existing technology infrastructures.
• Provides DEVSECOPS support to operations, by refining and/or existing code to meet operational requirements for functionality and/or relevance.
• Produces defense acquisition documentation, user manuals, training manuals, and other documentation utilized by the end-user community of DoD electronic equipment and systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• TS/SCI clearance and a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience.
• BA or BS degree in an IT-related Field or 6 years of technical experience in lieu
  of degree.
• Perform a variety of tasks, including specialization in several sub-fields such as
  kernel mode programming for platforms like Windows and Linux in C, C++, or
  Assembly, reverse engineering of various instruction set architectures (e.g.,
  x86, x64, MIPS, PPC, or ARM), and vulnerability analysis.
• Experience with VMware, ESXi, IDA Prol, Olly Debug, Ghidra, Kali Linux, GDP, Tcpdump,
  Wireshark, Strace, NC, NMAP, and other tools.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Self-motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, who can organize and manage an individual schedule.
• Knowledge of internet protocols, telecommunication technologies, and internet routing.
• Understanding of software applications, operating systems, and databases within the telecommunications architecture.
• Experience in reverse engineering and vulnerability analysis.
• Experience within Cyberspace Operations.
• Experience in Software Engineering and/or Software Development .
