Job Title: Escrow Officer

Location: Houston (West Side)

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for handling settlement transactions with precision and accuracy? We are seeking an Escrow Officer to join our team in Houston.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of settlement transactions, including preparing and approving Settlement Statements, coordinating deeds, verifying loan documents, insurance documentation, seller statements, and contracts.
• Obtain signatures for closing transactions, explain documents when necessary, and facilitate communication between all parties involved.
• Follow Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines, ensuring compliance with State and Federal Good Funds statutes during fund collection and disbursement.
• Review escrow quality assurance reports, address any outstanding issues, and maintain compliance with business policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate transfer of information and documentation between the settlement, Recording, and Accounting Departments.
• Resolve any post-closing issues promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain adherence to workflow processes and perform assigned duties with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Escrow Officer or a Senior Escrow Assistant with relevant experience and ability to be licensed
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex documents clearly.
• Strong knowledge of escrow processes and legal requirements.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in software applications related to escrow operations.
