Job Title: Endoscopic Technician (ERCP)

Duration: 13-week contract (potential for extension)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Day Shift | 8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week

Pay Rate: $28 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopic Technician (ERCP) to join our healthcare team for a 13-week contract in Plano, TX . This role involves providing support during endoscopic procedures, particularly ERCPs, and assisting in both clinical and technical aspects of patient care.

• Assist with medical procedures, including ERCP, and provide necessary patient care support

• Take and monitor vital signs and perform EKGs when required

• Assist in the placement of pulse oximetry and oxygen/suction setup

• Perform cleaning and routine maintenance of equipment and instruments

• Report equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel

• Collect and transport specimens to the laboratory when needed

• Stock exam rooms with medical supplies and educational materials

• Retrieve endoscopy reports from the system as needed

• Provide patients with relevant information and instructions

• Remain calm and respond quickly during emergencies, including initiating CPR and assisting the response team

• Participate in inventory control for medical and procedural supplies

• High School Diploma (HSD) or equivalent

• SGNA (Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates) certification required

• Previous experience assisting with ERCP procedures highly preferred

• Basic knowledge of clinical operations and patient care procedures

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
