About the role: The Customer Service Representative provides a variety of customer service, administrative support and clerical duties to the Access program, which is focused on intake and enrollment for all BTCS programs. Specific duties include, but are not limited to, completing non-clinical screenings with people seeking services, financial assessments and insurance verification, answering phone calls and directing to appropriate staff, scheduling appointments, service documentation, and data entry. These services must be provided with a high level of quality customer service and engagement according to BTCS standards. CSRs are often the first point of contact for community members seeking services and therefore must represent the BTCS mission with every contact.

Who you are: An individual who is passionate about helping others, hard-working, honest, and personable. A team-player, go-getter, jack of all trades and an out of the box thinker. One who can handle a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. You also have a High School diploma or GED, a valid Texas Driver's License, knowledge of Microsoft applications, initiative, diplomacy, as well as organizational and time management skills. You must also be comfortable collaborating with an array of individuals including but not limited to adults, children/youth, those in crisis as well as intake and respite units.

Bonus if you have at least one year experience within a medical or hospital setting, have working knowledge of medical insurance and if you are bilingual (English/Spanish).

Who we are: Bluebonnet Trails (BTCS) is a nonprofit that has been providing community services since 1997. Over the past two and a half decades, services have expanded to include resources for autism, early childhood intervention, substance addiction, primary health care and more. Bluebonnet Trails currently serves eight counties.

Location: Round Rock and Remote

Salary: $17.80/hr - $22.55/hr

Applicable Differentials:

.75/hour Bilingual (Spanish)

1.00/hour Specialty (Community Healthcare Related Certification, Associate's Degree in field supporting the role of the Position)

1.00/hour 2 years with BTCS

This position may qualify for recognition of previous years worked in an

equivalent position with a Community Center.

2 Years ($1.00/hr)

4 Years ($1.00/hr)

Flexible Spending Accounts: Optional pre-tax contributions for medical reimbursement and dependent care plans.

Retirement Plans: 401A: Through this governmental plan, we offer a 7% match to employee contributions. 457/403(b): Through these governmental plans, employees may contribute pre-tax earnings for retirement. Employees may participate on the first day of employment.

Sponsored Insurance: Life Insurance: Through Dearborn National, we offer basic life insurance of $5,000. Optional supplemental coverage, as well as spouse and eligible dependent policies, are available to purchase. Long Term Disability/ Accident/ Critical Illness Insurance: Through Dearborn National we offer optional insurance coverages at a competitive rate. City Round Rock, Remote County Williamson County Credentials Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; ability to organize workspace and activities using initiative; follow oral and written instructions; must be able to learn how to input information into an electronic health record; ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment; must be able to work with clients, families and staff utilizing tact and diplomacy; must be able to work collaboratively with other members of the adult, child/youth, Primary Care, Crisis, Intake and Substance Use, and contractors. Must have Texas driver's license and maintain approved driver's status throughout employment. Preferred Qualifications: Front desk and experience with financials in a behavioral health setting preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred. Knowledge of insurance company processes.
